Hi!

I am Terry, a {research, data, applied} scientist with a keen interest in AI for good. Currently, I am at Meedan evaluating the integrity and truthfulness of LLMs beyond the West (the Larger World) and other research projects trying to make the Internet safer and more equitable. I previously worked in the climate sector building data intelligence platforms and risk modelling, including as the data science lead of the acquired start-up Trove Research (now MSCI Carbon Markets). My master's research at the Oxford Internet Institute focused on large-scale knowledge graph construction from unstructure news data to understand climate knowledge gaps. I hold a Bachelor's in environmental studies with computer science from the University of Waterloo.
